Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how imsj ("we", "us", or "the developer") handles information in connection with the imsj.dev website and our published applications, including Kopi Ordering Assistant, TLDRSG, and Busleh (together, the "Services").
The short version: Our apps are built to work with as little personal data as possible. We do not sell your data. Where an app needs a device permission (such as the microphone or your location), it is used only to provide the feature you asked for.
1. Who we are
The Services are operated by imsj, an independent app developer. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@imsj.dev.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to provide and improve the Services:
- Information you provide. Content you enter into an app (for example, notes, preferences, or messages you send us for support).
- Device permissions you grant. Some apps request access to device features to deliver specific functionality (see "App-specific permissions" below). You can grant or revoke these at any time in your device settings.
- Technical and usage data. Basic diagnostic information such as app version, device type, operating system, and crash logs, used to keep the Services reliable.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not require you to create an account to use our core features unless clearly stated in the app.
3. App-specific permissions
- TLDRSG records and summarises meetings. Audio is captured only while you are recording, and recordings and transcripts are processed to generate summaries. Where AI summarisation is used, relevant content may be sent to a third-party AI processing provider solely to produce your summary (see "Third-party services").
- Busleh may use your device location to show nearby bus stops and arrival times. Location is used on-device to fetch arrival data and is not used for tracking or advertising.
- Kopi Ordering Assistant stores your drink preferences to help you order. This information stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
4. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- To deliver the specific features you request (such as generating a meeting summary or showing bus arrivals).
- To diagnose problems, fix bugs, and improve performance and reliability.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. Trusted third parties who process data on our behalf (for example, cloud hosting, crash reporting, or AI summarisation), bound to use it only to provide their service to us.
- Legal reasons. Where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
- Protection of rights. To protect the safety, rights, or property of our users, the public, or us.
6. Third-party services
Some Services rely on third-party platforms and providers, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- App stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) for distribution and, where applicable, in-app purchases.
- AI processing providers used by TLDRSG to generate summaries.
- Advertising and analytics. The imsj.dev website may display ads via Google AdSense and use basic analytics. Google may use cookies to serve ads; you can learn more at Google's Ads policy.
7. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. Content stored locally on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Diagnostic data is retained for a limited period, then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email contact@imsj.dev. You can also manage app permissions at any time in your device settings.
9. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International users
The Services are operated from Singapore. If you access them from elsewhere, your information may be processed in Singapore or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app or on-site notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
