Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 August 2026
These Terms of Service, together with the End User License Agreement below (collectively, the "Terms"), govern your use of the imsj.dev website and our applications, including Kopi Ordering Assistant, TLDRSG, and Busleh (the "Services"), provided by imsj (the "developer", "we", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. License to use the Services
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the applications on any device that you own or control, and to access the website, for your personal, non-commercial use. This license is subject to the applicable app store's terms (the Apple App Store or Google Play).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Services, except to the extent permitted by law;
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Services;
- Use the Services for any unlawful, infringing, or harmful purpose, or to violate the rights of others;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to them.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Some Services may offer paid features, in-app purchases, or subscriptions. These are billed through the applicable app store, and are subject to that store's payment, refund, and cancellation policies. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your app store account settings.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create with the Services. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to use it. Where the Services process your content to provide a feature (for example, generating a summary), you grant us the limited rights needed to operate that feature. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, and content (excluding your content), are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license expressly granted above, no rights are transferred to you.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information (such as bus arrival times or AI-generated summaries) will be accurate or complete.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the relevant Service in the preceding twelve months or SGD 20.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the apps. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue a Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
10. Changes to the Services and Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the Services, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
12. Apple App Store — additional terms (EULA)
The following applies to apps you obtain through the Apple App Store, in accordance with Apple's requirements:
- Parties. These Terms are between you and the developer only, not with Apple. The developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Scope of license. The license granted is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Maintenance and support. The developer is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support, as described in these Terms. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support.
- Warranty. The developer is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- Product claims. The developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, and consumer protection claims.
- Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights, the developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
- Contact. Direct any questions, complaints, or claims regarding the app to contact@imsj.dev.
13. Google Play — additional terms
Apps obtained through Google Play are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Your use of the app must comply with Google Play's policies, and Google is not responsible for the app or its content.
